Breakthrough Prostate Cancer Animal Study Presented at International Oncology Conference

RHODES, Greece, Oct. 12, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- New animal study confirms the dramatic effects of a natural formula against aggressive prostate cancer tumors. Researchers at the Methodist Research Institute at Indiana University conducted the study on mice, using a human prostate cancer xenograft model (outlined below). These latest results have been presented to hundreds of researchers and medical doctors in Rhodes, Greece during the 16th World Congress on Advances in Oncology and 14th International Symposium on Molecular Medicine.

Lead investigator, Dr. Daniel Sliva presented the results of this in vivo (live animal) study, demonstrating the significant effects of the formula in suppressing the proliferation and metastasis of human hormone refractory (androgen independent) prostate cancer cells. Study Further Validates Previous In-Vitro Results

This formula has previously been studied at research laboratories at Columbia University, NY, and at the Cancer Research Laboratory, Methodist Research Institute, Indiana University Health, Indianapolis, IN, using in vitro methods (i.e. cell culture studies) and gene expression analysis.
