Brian Govi named Head Golf Professional at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort's Burnt Pine Golf Club
PGA Professional Possesses More Than 20 Years of Industry Experience
MIRAMAR BEACH, FL, June 3, 2015 /PRNewswire/ - Burnt Pine Club, the private golf facility located at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort, has named Brian Govi as head golf professional. Govi arrived from the PGA Golf Club in Port St. Lucie, FL where he served as assistant golf professional and event manager. In his new role, he will oversee all aspects of the club including member relations, annual events and course operations.
Govi has spent the majority of his more than 20 year golf career in the state of Florida. He served as head golf professional at Madison Green Golf Club in Royal Palm Beach, The Club at Emerald Hills in Hollywood, and Wycliff Golf and Country Club in Wellington. He started his golf career at the Golf Club at Desert Mountain in Scottsdale, AZ. Govi is a 1993 graduate of the University of Florida and became an official PGA Member in 1996.
