HOUSTON, Dec. 16, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Bridgeway Software, the leading provider of legal enterprise management solutions, which includes eDiscovery, matter management, litigation management, and corporate governance, today announced the latest version of its industry-leading Legal Hold solution, Bridgeway Legal Hold 3.1, designed to ensure that the legal administrator has the features they need to properly meet these growing litigation requirements.

Bridgeway Legal Hold 3.1 offers several enhancements to provide the legal department more control of the legal hold process including enhanced automation of multi-level escalations and information import.  Additionally, Bridgeway has enhanced the matter management integration feature allowing more seamless work flow between applications and to provide complete legal enterprise management (LEM).

"Legal departments are constantly striving to become more efficient in their processes while refusing to sacrifice compliance," said Rich Hall, Vice President of eDiscovery Solutions at Bridgeway.  "Our enhancements are always customer driven as we drive to develop attorney friendly applications."

Bridgeway Legal Hold 3.1 adds to the vast reporting capabilities already available in Bridgeway's Legal Hold solution with the ability to allow the legal department to create ad hoc reports from data directly within the legal hold system.  With this reporting engine, Bridgeway users can filter relevant data in views that are most relevant to their system or any particular litigation issue.

"Forward thinking legal organizations know that their eDiscovery applications must be robust and flexible to keep pace with the constantly evolving legal requirements," said Hall.  "We designed Bridgeway Legal Hold 3.1 to seamlessly manage the full legal hold process from the initial e-mail notice to ensuring each participant is in compliance throughout the entire process."

Bridgeway Legal Hold 3.1 is now designed to be fully compliant with government regulation U.S. Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, which guarantees the software is accessible for users who are visually, aurally and physically challenged.  Bridgeway Legal Hold embraces the use by those with disabilities and is one of the only legal hold applications that is fully Section 508 compliant.
