Combining unparalleled flexibility and customization, LawManager 6.2 features enhanced search, reporting and other business intelligence capabilities, hardened data encryption and enhanced compliance with government regulations for users with disabilities.

In an ongoing effort to provide maximum flexibility and information sub-systems that can be fully integrated with their existing matter management system, LawManager 6.2 now includes:

Greater Business Intelligence & Reporting: Dramatic improvements to its business- intelligence reporting engine, Report Wizard, and new customization features improve the performance for corporate and government legal teams. New options and powerful search engine features allow users to find the data they need and then arrange it in a 'notebook' summary. This enables them to easily capture all relevant data such as matters, contacts, invoices, etc. through a customized, single display instead of needing to access multiple pieces of data through individual tabs. Users can also create tailored reports in formats such as PDF, RTF and HTML or export tab data directly to Microsoft Excel.

Hardened Security, Encryption and Compliance: Increased security parameters now support the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES), a symmetric-key encryption standard that is Federal Information Processing Standard (FIPS) compliant. Abiding by all the application and record-level security parameters configured in LawManager, the latest solution also employs a Secure Hash Algorithm (SHA)-256 (32-bytes, 256 bits) to derive passwords and access to other secure information. LawManager 6.2 is also fully compliant with government regulation U.S. Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, which guarantees the software is accessible for users who are visually, aurally and/or physically challenged. More specifically, enhancements to the web interface include text explanations for non-text elements, keyboard alternatives for all mouse click actions, and two new help menu commands.

By integrating with Bridgeway's electronic billing portal, Corridor™, LawManager 6.2 provides more secure e-billing processes. The solution allows law firms to leverage a highly configurable rule-based invoice auditing engine and a rule-based approval workflow engine for optimal security. Additionally, LawManager 6.2 integrates with Bridgeway's Legal Hold solution, enabling users to initiate legal holds right from the matter management solution. When viewing a matter, users can quickly see if it has a legal hold issued in addition to the status and details of it.
