Brighton Supports Breast Cancer With "Goods That Do Good"

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 1, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Brighton is excited to support hundreds of local breast cancer charities across the US through its 13th annual Power of Pink Program. The company has a dedicated and deep history of giving back which includes supporting local breast cancer organizations through the sale of its exclusive Power of Pink bracelets and leather goods.

What sets Brighton apart during breast cancer awareness month is their community involvement. The staff from each of Brighton's 190 stores across the country chooses breast cancer organizations they wish to support. The stores host Power of Pink events to empower survivors and to raise funds to help those challenged by this life-threatening disease. The "pink events" include survivor makeovers and fashion shows as well as breakfasts, luncheons and special shopping events where women can hear doctors and nurses talk about treatment, new breakthroughs and recovery resources.

The intention of Brighton's Power of Pink promotion is to raise money to support local breast cancer charities.  "Breast cancer touches everyone; a mother, sister, or friend – we all know someone who has been affected by this disease," Jerry Kohl explains, "The more we all give, the sooner we'll reach a cure."

The Power of Pink promotion runs through November 15^th.  A $10 donation will be made for each bracelet purchased. There are two Power of Pink bracelets, the Legacy Bracelet for $60 and the pink leather customizable charm bracelet sells that sells for $50. There are also limited edition pink leather accessories – and 10% of the proceeds from each item purchased will be donated to breast cancer charities across the US.
