However, a recent survey carried out by the office fruit delivery company Fruitdrop found that when it comes to snacking on fruit, most people - a huge 40% in fact - prefer to have a banana above anything else.
Brits' top five fruits, in order of preference, are:
1. Bananas (40%)
2. Apples (23%)
3. Pears (14%)
4. Oranges (15%)
5. Plums (8%)
