Britt Nolan and Emma Montgomery Promoted to Co-Presidents of Leo Burnett Chicago

CHICAGO, Jan. 16, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Leo Burnett today announced the appointment of Britt Nolan, Chief Creative Officer, and Emma Montgomery, Chief Strategy Officer, to Co-Presidents of the agency's flagship office, effective immediately. Each maintains their roles as CCO and CSO, and continues to report to Andrew Swinand, Chief Executive Officer, Leo Burnett Group North America.

Under the new executive structure, Nolan is responsible for product leadership, which includes the vision, culture and product standard that will enable the agency to grow its clients' and its own business. Creative and production functions will report to Nolan.

Nolan joined Leo Burnett Chicago in 2009 and was promoted to chief creative officer in 2016. Some of his best-known work includes "VanGogh BnB" for the Art Institute of Chicago; Allstate "Mayhem;" "Ostrich" for Samsung; and "Legal-Ade" for Country Time Lemonade.

Montgomery is responsible for product strategy, encompassing the capabilities and approaches that will generate growth. She also takes on oversight of Leo Burnett's Business Leadership function. The planning department and Chicago business leadership team will report to Montgomery.

Montgomery joined Leo Burnett Chicago as chief strategy officer in 2017. Previously, she held various positions at Leo Burnett Sydney and was responsible for directing, growing and innovating the agency's strategic product.

Swinand maintains responsibility for overall Leo Burnett Group initiatives, goals and financial delivery through support of individual agency approaches. Leo Burnett Detroit and Arc Worldwide continue to report to him.
