Motivated to go into the nursing field at a young age, Stepovich recalls witnessing her mother going through severe heart problems causing her to have multiple surgeries at the tender age of twenty-one. When asked her advice to newcomers in the industry, Stepovich notes the importance of following, "your heart and listening to your instincts." With her success based on the contribution of her mentors, hard work, and determination, Stepovich is well-versed in the areas of medical oncology and hematology nursing.
Early in her career, Stepovich graduated with her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Loyola University in Chicago, Illinois. Thereafter, Stepovich went onto earn her Master of Science Degree in Nursing from the University of California located in Los Angeles.
In an effort to further advance her professional career, Stepovich is a Certified Adult Nurse Practitioner and an Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse Practitioner. An affiliate of Fairbanks Memorial Hospital, Stepovich holds certifications as a Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support specialist.
When she is not working, Stepovich enjoys reading books, gold mining, and traveling.
