Brown Rudnick expands its New York corporate team with addition of partner, Edward Davis
NEW YORK, Oct. 9, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- International law firm Brown Rudnick announced today that Edward A. Davis has joined the firm as a partner in the Corporate and Capital Markets group in the New York office.
Davis brings over 20 years of experience in complex mergers and acquisitions, financings and other transactional matters. He frequently advises asset managers, funds and fund sponsors, insurance companies, broker-dealers, financial institutions and investors in connection with transactions involving financial services businesses or financial assets. He regularly counsels multi-national corporations and their constituents on cross-border transactional matters across a broad range of asset classes and industries. Davis' experience also includes representing issuers and investors in connection with venture capital and growth equity financings, business formation, securities, and corporate governance matters.
Before joining Brown Rudnick, Davis was a partner at Mayer Brown LLP, where he served as Co-Chair of Mayer Brown's Financial Institutions M&A Group.
