Brown Toy Box Kicks Off the Inaugural STEAM Bowl, Merging Sports and STEAM to Inspire the Next Generation

Empowering Kids Through Play-Based Learning with NFLPA, Microsoft, and Powered by Aetna Better Health of Louisiana During Super Bowl Week in New Orleans

ATLANTA, Feb. 4, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- On February 5, 2025, Brown Toy Box, a trailblazer in culturally affirming STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) products and experiential events for children and their families, will bring the excitement of football paired with the joy of exploring STEAM to life in New Orleans with its inaugural STEAM Bowl at Pierre A. Capdau STEAM School. While this is the first-ever STEAM Bowl, it marks Brown Toy Box's third collaboration with Microsoft during Big Game weekend.

The STEAM Bowl will feature over 20 immersive STEAM activations, including a demo of the Microsoft MakeCode game, which ties directly to the NFLPA STEAM kits created by Brown Toy Box as an official licensee of NFLPA. These kits and the game illustrate how STEAM connects to sports, highlighting the many career opportunities beyond the field in areas such as technology, data analytics, and engineering.

A Parent Zone Tailgate, hosted by Aetna Better Health of Louisiana, will include health screenings, tailgate-style grilling, and family games, ensuring everyone feels part of the Big Game excitement.
