Newly enhanced app provides seamless "IKEA on the Go" experience
BURLINGTON, ON, July 14, 2015 /CNW/ - Today, IKEA Canada launched a fresh new version of their mobile shopping app, Store. The updated app has a sleek new design and will act as an in-store shopping companion for customers. Now, shopping lists are just a swipe away and consumers can check off collected items and manage quantities. Shoppers can access the app via their tablets as well as their phones, and new scanning technology will ensure the shopping experience is tailored to each user, making for a significantly improved experience.
Several features from the original app remain available including the ability to browse IKEA's full product range, check product information and stock availability, and create shopping lists that show where to find a product's location in a store, making for easy onsite pick-up. Customers also have access to store maps, making navigating each location a breeze.

As part of IKEA Canada's commitment to finding new ways to enhance the shopping experience and become more accessible to consumers, the retailer also features free Wi-Fi in all 12 Canadian stores as well as an in-store shopping service. The service offers customers the option of having their furniture picked-up and delivered directly to their homes for same-day delivery.
The new IKEA Store App is available in both French and English, works alongside IKEA's mobile-friendly website and catalogue app to provide a seamless "IKEA on the Go" experience. The app is available for free for iOS and Android tablets and smartphones.
