Bruce Schoemer Named Chief Technology Officer of Camber Corporation

HUNTSVILLE, Ala., March 11, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Camber Corporation announced today that Bruce Schoemer has been promoted to Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer (CTO).  

Mr. Schoemer has over 30 years of experience in management and leadership for the services business sector in technology markets including the Intelligence Community, Department of Defense (DoD), U.S. Government, and commercial contracting environments. These business sectors span numerous markets including Chemical Biological Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) Threat Mitigation, Intelligence and Special Operations, Unmanned Systems, Cyber & Information Assurance, and Training & Simulation systems.

Camber recently announced that it is acquiring the IT consulting services business of Avaya Government Solutions. The company will inherit a strong IT solutions capability that has an established reputation among its DoD and Civil customers.  One of Mr. Schoemer's primary roles as CTO will be to establish the company's technical vision and support the organization's strategic planning to achieve business goals by identifying and prioritizing technical initiatives and setting timetables for the evaluation, development and deployment of technical services.
