BrunchCritic to host its 3rd Orange Gala benefiting Parkinson's Research
Event to Benefit TEAM FOX for the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research
NEW YORK, Feb. 25, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- BrunchCritic, New York's all-brunch online resource where busy New Yorkers can find the best NYC brunch, will host its 3rd Orange Gala on March 6th in Brooklyn. Orange 2016 will give New Yorkers a chance to experience some of the best brunch restaurants from around the city at an energetic and unique orange-tie event all while benefiting charity.
This year's event will continue the tradition that was started in 2012, and 100% of the profits will be donated to TEAM FOX for the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research. And because the Michael J. Fox Foundation has an orange logo, all attendees are required to wear at least one piece of orange clothing, making it truly an orange-tie event.
"We find that people really get into the theme and are creative," said BrunchCritic Founder Andrea Pappas. "People wear everything from orange scarfs and bow-ties, to dresses, to a pair of silly orange pants," she added.
Event attendees will enjoy a live music, brunch stations by seven NYC brunch restaurants, an oyster bar, signature cocktails by EFFEN Vodka, Valdo Prosecco, Herradura Tequila, Aperol, Woodford Reserve and specialty juice company RIPE Bar Juice, beer by Brooklyn Brewery, and non-alcoholic beverages by Bruce Cost Ginger Ale and coffee by Four J Foods.

BrunchCritic's fashion partner for the event is Rent The Runway, who will offer all new customers 20% off, and the official transportation partner is ride-sharing service Lyft, who will offer 50% off rides to and from the venue. Guest will also be able to enter a raffle and win a trip to Napa, California presented by Eleven Eleven Winery and Jet Blue.
