The title was awarded at IABC's 2018 World Conference Awards Gala held this summer in Montréal, where Buck also received nine Gold Quill awards for employee engagement and corporate communications on behalf of seven client organizations, including the distinguished "Best of the Best" Award for publications, two Awards of Excellence and six Awards of Merit. Buck received these awards prior to its spinoff from Conduent in August 2018.

The Gold Quill Awards are IABC's international awards program recognizing excellence in the field of business communication.
