The City of Seattle will showcase purpose-driven businesses and community initiatives, including Best Day Ever, a collaboration of Department of Neighborhoods, Seattle Chamber of Connection and Cultivate South Park and Traveling While Black, featuring Marlie and Anthony Love.
(Re)Purpose will feature the 2025 Ikigai Award, presented to Howard Behar, one of Seattle's original purpose-driven leaders. Behar elevated Starbucks from a regional coffee purveyor to a global brand as President of Starbucks International, where he opened the first store outside of North America in Japan.
(Re)Purpose Summit will host a mix of local residents, national guests, and nextgen leaders including the Ikigai Fellows from the University of Nebraska Clifton Strengths Institute.
