Amdocs is providing Mtel with a full managed services solution, including application development, integration management, testing and hardware procurement, maintenance, as well as daily operations for Mtel's data center, disaster recovery and business support systems (BSS) across all the company's lines of business. Amdocs has also taken full accountability for third-party functions. As a result, Mtel has improved its operational and business performance levels and reduced costs in several areas, including system and service availability, problem resolution, time to market for new and bundled services, bill accuracy and number of customer calls to its call centers.
