Bulgaria's Mobiltel and Amdocs Win Global 2014 Outsourcing Excellence Award

LOUIS and SOFIA, Bulgaria, April 23, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Amdocs (NASDAQ: DOX), the leading provider of customer experience systems and services, and Mobiltel (Mtel), the largest mobile service provider in Bulgaria, are the joint winners of the "Best Going the Extra Mile" category in the global 2014 Outsourcing Excellence Awards. These awards recognize the world's best managed services relationships, highlighted by the implementation of best practices and the achievement of compelling value. Amdocs was also a winner of the 2013 and 2012 Outsourcing Excellence Awards, in partnership with customers.

Amdocs is providing Mtel with a full managed services solution, including application development, integration management, testing and hardware procurement, maintenance, as well as daily operations for Mtel's data center, disaster recovery and business support systems (BSS) across all the company's lines of business. Amdocs has also taken full accountability for third-party functions. As a result, Mtel has improved its operational and business performance levels and reduced costs in several areas, including system and service availability, problem resolution, time to market for new and bundled services, bill accuracy and number of customer calls to its call centers.
