LINCOLN, Neb., Sept. 5, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Bulu Box, www.BuluBox.com, the innovative supplement startup that brings subscribers the best in vitamins and supplement samples for $10 a month, announced the close of a $500k Series A round of funding, led by Dundee Venture Capital. The financing will be used to help continued growth and execute long-term strategies. Investors from the company's seed financing also invested in this round, including members from the Nebraska Angels; Karen Linder, Dr. Jim Linder, and Monte Froehlich.

Each month, Bulu Box members sample four to five premium nutritional, vitamin and supplement samples. Additionally, members are encouraged to "share the health" by joining the Bulu Box social community and sharing their insights, experiences and tips about the products they have sampled.

Bulu Box, co-founded by married couple Paul Jarrett and Stephanie Jarrett, helps brands improve the effectiveness of their sampling programs by putting their product into the hands of qualified consumers. The company helps develop deep relationships between brands and customers through social media and one-to-one customer service. In the coming months the company will be launching a rewards program to continue to enhance customer engagement.
