Buno Pati Joins Centerview Capital Technology as Partner

MENLO PARK, Calif., June 8, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Centerview Capital Technology Management, L.P. ("Centerview Capital Technology") today announced that Dr. Buno Pati has joined the firm as a Partner adding to the founding partnership of Ned Hooper, former Chief Strategy Officer of Cisco Systems, Inc., David Dorman, former Chairman and CEO of AT&T and Sandhya Venkatachalam former VP Advertising and Monetization and Head of Corporate Development of Skype.

Dr. Pati is an entrepreneur and company builder who brings more than 20 years of experience growing, leading and investing in technology companies and has served as an Advisor to the firm since 2014. 

Dr. Pati founded and served as Chief Executive Officer of Numerical Technologies, a company that redefined how integrated circuits are designed and manufactured.   He led the company for eight years, from inception through an initial public offering and eventual acquisition.   He helped launch Nexus Venture Partners, a pioneer in Indian venture capital and founded and served as Chief Executive Officer of Sezmi Corporation, a company that developed and marketed video services offerings for telecom services providers.   Dr. Pati holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland, College Park and was a Senior Research Associate at Stanford University and an Assistant Professor of Electrical Engineering at Harvard University early in his career.
