Bureau Veritas Certification to Offer Free Webinar on Lessons Learned from the AS9104/1 Transition

This webinar is intended for manufacturers within and suppliers to the Aerospace and Defense industries who are certified to the AS9100 standard, or who plan to be in the near future.  The webinar topic is related to IAQG's February 2012 release of the much anticipated new edition of the AS9104 guidance document, which was originally released in 2004. The document defines the basic requirements for managing the AQMS certification scheme and provides the structure that Accreditation and Certification Bodies need to carry out effective certification audits. Now several months after the release, many suppliers are beginning to wonder how they are affected by its implementation, and this webinar will address these concerns. The Presenter
Roger Ritterbeck, Aerospace Program Manager for Bureau Veritas Certification, is currently an RABQSA certified AS9100 auditor and has led hundreds of audits against the ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards. Since 2001, he has been involved with the Americas Aerospace Quality Group and Registration Management Committee and served as a member of the AS9110 rewrite team.
