Bureau Veritas Signs Memorandum of Understanding with Inspection & Quarantine Technology Centre of Zhongshan Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau

Bureau Veritas Consumer Products Services is pleased to announce that its Electrical and Electronics Business Line ("Bureau Veritas") and the Inspection & Quarantine Technology Centre of Zhongshan Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau ("Zhongshan CIQ") have formed a strategic collaboration. The collaboration will enable Bureau Veritas to offer a one-stop testing and certification solution for the electrical and electronics supply chain addressing local and export markets. A Memorandum of Understanding was signed by two parties in August.

Through the collaboration, Bureau Veritas provides electrical and electronics testing, certification and technical consultation services leveraging the Zhongshan CIQ laboratory. Zhongshan CIQ's advanced testing equipment combined with Bureau Veritas' technical and commercial know how enables the parties to offer comprehensive and cost-effective test packages for electrical and electronics companies, especially for LED luminaires, general luminaire and other lighting products to factories and vendors in China.
