Bank to Award United Community $100 for Each Goal Scored by the Washington Capitals

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 8, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Burke & Herbert Bank today announced that United Community would be the 2025-2026 recipient for their annual Goals For Good program. United Community will receive $100 from the Bank for each goal scored by the Washington Capitals during the National Hockey League (NHL) regular season. This unique partnership with Monumental Sports, broadcasters of the hometown Capitals, raises awareness for critical needs in the region while providing a mechanism for building both monetary and tangible support for the selected organization.
