FORT WORTH, Texas, Jan. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Buxton ended 2009 on a positive note, adding more than 150 new clients over the course of the year, and is looking to add to the roster in 2010.

"Last year we remained bullish and adapted our services to our clients needs'," said Charles Wetzel, president and COO of Buxton. "We were able to help retailers, communities, manufacturers and healthcare entities increase revenues, which was crucial during the past year. In 2010 Buxton will focus on our newly expanded product portfolio and continue to meet the demands of our clients."

Buxton showed significant revenue increases in its healthcare and consumer packaged goods divisions last year, while adding to the depth and breadth of product offerings in its retail and public sector divisions. New clients include Weight Watchers, West Marine, Sisters of Mercy Health System, North Shore Long Island Jewish, the City of Irving, Tex., and the City of Orlando, Fla.

In 2009, Buxton announced a strategic alliance with Experian, a global information services company providing analytical and marketing services to organizations and consumers. This alliance allows Buxton to offer Micromarketer®, a desktop platform for market analysts to create and refine their growth and business strategies.

"Aligning with Experian gives Buxton the ability to perform analysis in more than 26 countries and access to next generation household level segmentation analysis capability," said Wetzel. "This product equips our clients with the tools they need to make more strategic market planning decisions. We expect a number of retailers to utilize Micromarketer in 2010."
