BVI® expands Malosa® single-use instrument range in the US

WALTHAM, Mass., Sept. 8, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- BVI, the fastest growing diversified company in ophthalmology, today announced the extension of its Malosa^® range of single-use ophthalmic instruments in the US. The US Malosa portfolio will now include specialty instruments for use in corneal refractive surgery, complementing the existing single-use product range for cataract, oculoplastic and office-based procedures, such as LASIK, PRK and SMILE^®.

Malosa high quality, surgical steel, single-use instruments offer a strong alternative to reusable instruments in terms of consistency, OR efficiency, and potential reduction of surgical cross contamination. With the increasing need for operational efficiency, Malosa single-use instruments reduce the need for instrument cleaning, sterilization and repairs.
