Bybit Launches USD Deposit Support via OpenPayd

DUBAI, UAE, Sept. 23, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Bybit, the world's second-largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume, announced that USD deposit is now supported through OpenPayd, a leading provider of financial infrastructure bridging traditional fiat banking and crypto rails. The integration gives eligible users a new streamlined way to fund their Bybit accounts in USD and access USD trading pairs without additional currency conversion.

Through a single API integration with OpenPayd, Bybit can access global payment rails via virtual IBANs, including USD SWIFT with foreign exchange capabilities supported in one unified platform. This supports both institutional settlement and retail deposits and withdrawals, giving Bybit a consistent and compliant way to collect, convert and settle funds globally.

Eligible users can now deposit USD by navigating to Assets, selecting "Make a Fiat Deposit," and choosing USD as the deposit currency with SWIFT as the payment method. The system generates bank transfer details, including the beneficiary, account number, and reference code, for users to complete the transfer from a business bank account. Once the transfer is confirmed, funds appear in the user's USD balance.

For eligible users, the integration unlocks a faster, more direct path to USD liquidity:

• Flat deposit fee: A flat $11 fee applies per transaction, regardless of deposit amount, offering cost predictability for users moving larger sums compared with percentage-based fee structures.
• Direct USD pair trading: Users can trade USD pairs directly on Bybit, avoiding the additional step and conversion costs before trading.
• Faster funding: The integration streamlines both USD deposits and withdrawals, reducing the time between initiating a transfer and having funds available for trading.
• Global liquidity access: USD funding gives eligible users access to global liquidity markets, supporting more efficient trade execution.
• Institutional-grade infrastructure: The feature is powered by OpenPayd, a regulated payment infrastructure provider, giving eligible users a compliant and secure channel for fiat funding.
