BYU Class of 1988 Announces 25-Year Reunion Set for October 11 at Hinckley Center

Brigham Young University Class of 1988 25-year reunion will be held at the Gordon B. Hinckley Alumni and Visitors Center on campus the evening of October 11, 2013
• Themed "Go Forth to Serve," the milestone event will coincide with BYU homecoming weekend and bring together hundreds of alumni and their families/friends from across the globe
• Attendees will enjoy a pre-dinner reception to get reacquainted; a professionally catered dinner; followed by inspirational remarks by LaVell Edwards, revered former BYU head football coach, and his wife, Patti

Hundreds are expected to attend:
• Guest speaker: LaVell Edwards accompanied by his wife, Patti; Edwards guided BYU to a national championship in 1984 and achieved 257 career victories, making him one of the most successful college football coaches of all time
• Emcee: Sharlene Wells Hawkes, Class of 1988 and former Miss America 1985
• Reunited classmates: More than 300 alumni from Class of 1988 and their guests
• Music by Blue Velvet, a music professor group, and food by Rockwell Catering
• Note: Alumni from Classes of 1986 – 1989 also are invited to attend
