C Diff Foundation Hosts "Raising C Diff Awareness" Symposium March 14th in Tampa, FL

NEW PORT RICHEY, Fla., Jan. 21, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- 2014 is shaping up to be a busy year for the C Diff Foundation, a 501(c)3 organization.  The Foundation is pleased to announce registration is now open for the March 14, 2014 "Raising C Diff Awareness" Symposium at the Wingate by Wyndham Hotel in Tampa, FL. The presenters at the symposium will include healthcare and research professionals working with and representing prominent healthcare organizations such as Cubist Pharmaceuticals, Xenex Disinfection Services, sBiomed, Rebiotix, Inc  and more. The Symposium will be held from 8:00 AM - 2:30 PM ET with lunch sponsored by Cubist Pharmaceuticals.

Cubist, a biopharmaceutical company focused on the research, development, and commercialization of pharmaceutical products for the acute care environment, has had a long-term commitment to combating Clostridium difficile-associated diarrhea (CDAD).  Cubist is focused on providing multiple therapeutic options to patients and their physicians to address CDAD and the key unmet medical need of recurrence.

A Special Addendum to the Symposium, a CPR BLS re-certification course presented by AHA Authorized Provider, Bill Sullivan, Sarasota CPR (www.sarasotacpr.biz), offered at a discounted rate for Symposium attendees. The course will be held from 2:30 PM - 5:00 PM ET.

The Foundation will be attending the "6th European Spore Conference" April 9th through 11th at Royal Holloway, University of London, Egham Hill, Egham, England. The C Diff Foundation Annual Conference will also be held at the Royal Holloway University of London. The evening guest reception will be hosted on September 15th, with the "Raising C Diff Awareness" Conference commencing on September 16th.
