C2 Education Founder David Kim Named Vice Chairman and Lisa Compton Promoted to CEO

Kim will continue as an active and engaged member of the company's board, mentoring the executive team. He will spend additional time bringing C2's philosophy to a broader audience in both education circles and national government initiatives in education while reinforcing the thought leadership among those institutions and individuals who are tasked with preparing students for college.

Compton served as COO since 2014, leading the escalated growth of the company, delivering exceptional results for students, elevating the customer experience, developing staff, and building operational excellence.

Additional leadership team changes announced by C2 include:

Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Marty Moore, has been given the additional title of Executive Vice President (EVP) and in those dual roles, his responsibilities will include finance, real estate and IT. 

Robert Settembro, whose broad operational leadership strength has been evident across the company, will be promoted to National Vice President Operations.

Whitney Myers will be promoted to Vice President Operations Services and Academics, with responsibilities to include facilitating the operational support, partnering across organizational boundaries to drive business objectives and overseeing academic support.
