CA Security and Compliance Business Leader Dave Hansen To Host Keynote Panel at RSA Conference 2010

ISLANDIA, N.Y., Feb. 18 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- CA, Inc. (Nasdaq: CA) today announced that Dave Hansen, corporate senior vice president and general manager of CA's Security and Compliance business unit, will host a keynote panel of noted industry experts at the RSA Conference 2010 on Wednesday, March 3, at 3:40 p.m. PT to discuss the security opportunities and challenges presented by cloud computing.

The panel, "Shifts in the Security Paradigm – What Cloud and Collaboration Demand," will feature leaders from Acxiom®, Amazon Web Services, Lockheed Martin Information Systems & Global Services, and the Ponemon Institute. Hansen will guide the discussion on cloud security.

Other CA Activity at the RSA Conference 2010

Attendees can visit CA at Booth 1533 in the exhibit hall where they will see first-hand the CA technologies available for security and compliance, including cloud security management, Web security management, identity lifecycle management, data and information protection, log management and more.

At the booth, attendees can pick up a card for the CA Twitter Scavenger Hunt and the chance to win a new Amazon Kindle DX. Hints and clues will be posted @CASecurity on Twitter Monday through Wednesday during the conference. They will need to follow @CASecurity (twitter.com/CASecurity) for the clues, complete their card, and take it to the CA booth 1533 by the time the exhibit hall closes on Wednesday, March 3. This is a keynote that Bilhar Mann, senior vice president of strategy in CA's Security & Compliance business, will deliver at the AGC's 6th Annual Information Security Conference, which is positioned as the kick-off event to the RSA Conference.

• "Access Compliance and the Evolution of Identity and Access Management," Monday, March 1 at 1:30 p.m. PT. Mann also will participate in a panel at AGC's 6th Annual Information Security Conference moderated by Steve Coplan, senior analyst, Enterprise Security, The 451 Group.

• Cloud Security Alliance – CA will be showing cloud security technology in its booth and taking part in the Cloud Security Alliance's member promotion.

• "Leveraging the Web Securely to Improve Health Care," Tuesday, March 2, at 2:30 p.m. PT, session code SPO2-107. Chris Sharp, from MEDecision Inc., will discuss how his company is securely enabling access to personal health information using both partner-facing XML Web services and SAML-enabled identity federation.

• Executive Women's Forum RSA Meet & Greet, Tuesday, March 2, 6 – 8:30 p.m. PT, Green Room 132, Moscone Center. Lina Liberti, vice president supporting CA Security & Compliance, will moderate a panel discussion on cloud security.

• "The Role of Research in Industry and Government," Wednesday, March 3, at 9:10 a.m. PT, session code RR-202. CA Security Researcher Carrie Gates will lead a panel made up of scientists, architects, and other researchers from AT&T, CA, IBM, and Pacific Northwest National Laboratory. They will discuss research in today's economic climate addressing questions such as: should research continue to be funded? What is the value? Who benefits most – large or small organizations?
