Central DuPage Hospital's Orthopaedic Program Ranked Nationally

WINFIELD, Ill., July 16, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Cadence Health's Central DuPage Hospital (CDH) and Delnor Hospital have been ranked as two of the Best Hospitals in Chicago and Illinois by U.S. News & World Report. For the fifth time in seven years, CDH's orthopaedic program has been ranked nationally, achieving its highest ranking to date, 22^nd in the country. The annual U.S. News Best Hospitals rankings, now in their 24th year, recognize hospitals that excel in treating the most challenging patients.

U.S. News evaluates hospitals in 16 adult specialties. In most specialties, it ranks the nation's top 50 hospitals. For CDH, its orthopaedic program was ranked 22^nd in the country. Additionally, U.S. News recognizes other high-performing hospitals by region that provide care at nearly the level of their nationally ranked peers. CDH and Delnor received regional recognition across a variety of specialties, including:

• Central DuPage Hospital – cardiology & heart surgery; diabetes & endocrinology; ear, nose & throat; gastroenterology & GI surgery; geriatrics; gynecology; nephrology; neurology & neurosurgery; pulmonology; and urology.
