Cadre Technologies Announces Davis Cartage as New Cadence Customer

DENVER, July 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Cadre Technologies is pleased to announce Davis Cartage Company in Corunna, MI as a new client. Davis Cartage will implement Cadre's Cadence warehouse management system and third-party fulfillment (3PF) solution to accommodate its third-party logistics (3PL) operations.

The Cadence system will expedite inventory processes and reduce the input time of Davis Cartage's current manual system. Cadence's RF-based paperless system provides Davis Cartage with automatic inventory updates on the warehouse floor in real-time as physical product moves take place.

"Today everything is recorded manually after the fact. In many cases we are unable to update our system with movements in the warehouse because of the time it takes to enter every move and the fact that product turns quickly," said Kelly Reynolds, accounting manager for Davis Cartage. "With Cadence we will be able to track movements as they happen on the warehouse floor and provide accurate information to our customers via Cadence's Web Access component at any time. It's critical for us to have this kind of flexibility in the technology we employ in our warehouse operations."

Davis Cartage is the largest private business employer in the city of Corunna and offers both warehouse and transportation services with eight facilities in the Mid-Michigan and Southwest Michigan areas.
