California Gaming Company Donates $150,000 to Woman and Family Charities

SACRAMENTO, Calif. and SAN DIEGO, March 1, 2018 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Stones Gambling Hall in Sacramento and Seven Mile Casino in San Diego today both announced two $75,000 donations, one to Woman Escaping A Violent Environment (WEAVE), the primary provider of crisis intervention services for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault in Sacramento County and one to South Bay Community Services (SBCS), a community based nonprofit that provides a comprehensive range of services and programs for children, youth, and families in San Diego County.

"The Big 24-Hour Giveback" was a philanthropic event for 24 hours between February 28 and March 1, where $100 was donated for each person who walked through the doors at Stones Gambling Hall and Seven Mile Casino. This inaugural fundraiser was an opportunity for communities to come together and enhance the quality of life for survivors of domestic violence, children, and families.
