JACKSONVILLE, Fla., April 4, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- The Adecco Group is looking for its 2019 'CEO for One Month' representative in the U.S. In its sixth year, this global internship program is a unique opportunity for candidates to step into the shoes of business leaders in 47 countries across the company's global network. Top applicants will complete a national 'CEO for One Month' internship, shadowing the Adecco Group leaders of their own country. Ultimately, one representative will be chosen as the 'Global CEO for One Month" and will have the opportunity to work alongside the Adecco Group CEO Alain Dehaze.
To identify the U.S. representative, finalists from across the nation will gather in Jacksonville, Florida, for a week-long leadership boot camp this May, where they will learn about the world of work and put their skills to the test. The company's U.S. business leaders will serve as mentors and judges for the week's events and will determine who will become the U.S. 'CEO for One Month.' The top candidate will spend one month shadowing the organization's senior executives – all while earning a $10,000 salary – and will have the chance to continue on as one of ten country 'CEO for One Month' finalists across the Adecco Group's global footprint.
"Our 'CEO for One Month' program is a unique opportunity," said Dehaze. "It helps people thrive in their careers and increase their confidence and exposure, by giving them highly effective work-based learning inside a Fortune 500 company. It is a testament to the strength of the program that many candidates join us and our customers in permanent roles after it has finished."
The 2018 Global 'CEO for One Month' Lisa Frommhold added, "It was an amazing and unique opportunity, giving me an insight into the world of work that would have otherwise been impossible. I gained exposure to an international business and access to a network of incredible people that I am still in contact with to this day. I had meaningful experiences and made enduring relationships and would recommend the program to any person looking to develop, both personally and professionally."
U.S. candidates interested in the opportunity to become the Adecco Group's 2019 'CEO for One Month' should apply here by April 16. For the latest updates, follow @CEOfor1Month and #CEO1Month.
