Calypso Communications Renews Leadership Seacoast Sponsorship

PORTSMOUTH, N.H., Jan. 8, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Calypso Communications, one of the only truly integrated, full-service public relations, marketing, and graphic design firms in Northern New England, has renewed its leadership sponsorship of Leadership Seacoast, a non-profit organization that develops informed and active community leaders, for the 2013 program year beginning in January.

In December, Leadership Seacoast completed its annual enrollment process.  The organization received a record number of applicants for the 2013 class; in comparison to last year, the applicant pool increased by 35 percent—the most in the program's 25-year history.

After an objective and extensive review of all candidates, the Leadership Seacoast Board of Directors admitted 36 individuals, each of whom will bring a unique set of skills to the interactive program. The class of 2013 kicks off its program year on January 9, 2013 with its annual day-long retreat at the Browne Center for Innovative Learning in Durham, New Hampshire.
