LimeSprings Beef is an innovative beef processing plant slated for construction and operation in Lime Springs, Iowa. The plant will be distinguished by a unique tracking system that allows consumers to trace their meat back to the processing plant and family farm from which it originated. LimeSprings Beef President Jesse Stevens believes the system will respond to consumers' growing desire to "know their farmer" and "know their food."
