Cambridge Sound Management closes out 2014 with vertical and company growth
Focuses for 2015 include corporate and healthcare sound masking projects
WALTHAM, Mass., Dec.11, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Cambridge Sound Management (CSM), a leading provider of direct-field sound masking solutions, today announced a strong close to a successful year with highlights including expansion in vertical markets, several key new hires, and continued strong growth. Closing out the year, CSM continued to deliver sound masking solutions to over 10,000 organizations around the world, increasing the square footage of installations by 21 percent in 2014.
Momentum in target verticals helped contribute to the spread of sound masking, including a 64 percent increase in healthcare projects and a 90 percent rise in government installations. CSM plans to continue this momentum, including further growth in the corporate and healthcare markets next year.
Staff grew more than 45 percent as CSM expanded to meet increased demand from customers looking to protect employee speech privacy, reduce noise distractions, and increase productivity in popular open-floor plan environments.
Further, the hiring of Christopher Calisi as Chief Executive Officer in April, an experienced senior executive with a track record of understanding market dynamics and delivering accelerated growth in variety of leadership positions will help steer CSM through the next stages of strategic expansion.
