NEW YORK, Aug. 31, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- It was announced today that former Fox News Chief Political Correspondent Carl Cameron has been hired as President of Londonderry Tales. In this new role, Cameron will oversee the financing and production of all upcoming slate of scripted and non-scripted television projects, reporting directly to Londonderry Founder & CEO Patrick Millsaps.
Cameron recently retired from Fox News Channel after more than 20 years with the company. Dubbed "Campaign Carl," Cameron covered every presidential election since he joined the network just prior to its inception in 1996. Originally hired as FNC's first Capitol Hill Correspondent, Cameron also served as Fox News' Chief Political Correspondent and Chief White House Correspondent where he was responsible for reporting on all presidential activities, both nationally and internationally. Cameron was named one of the top 50 journalists in the nation's capital by Washingtonian, and Newsday called him "cable news' most aggressive and plugged-in correspondent."
