New associate program offers a flexible, affordable pathway into the legal profession

NEW YORK, Sept. 22, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Campus, an accredited two-year college built for the AI era, today announced the launch of its online Associate of Arts in Paralegal Studies. The program is also approved by the American Bar Association, which evaluates paralegal curricula and faculty against the same standards legal employers use to assess prospective hires.

The program pairs instruction in the fundamentals every paralegal needs — legal research, writing, and procedure — with training to handle AI-assisted work with judgment and precision. Over eight quarters, students complete coursework spanning family, criminal, corporate, contract, administrative, and property law, with specialization tracks available in litigation, corporate, family/probate/real estate, or public interest practice. Students learn when AI belongs in a workflow, what information can safely go into it, and how to verify what comes out before it reaches the attorney of record.

Students start working with AI and legal technology in their first quarter, building toward the  Legal Ops & AI capstone, in which students manage AI-assisted workflows across simulated client environments. By graduation, students are prepared to sit for the Westlaw Legal Research Certification and the Clio Certified Administrator exams, and have a portfolio of research memos, correspondence, and discovery work to show potential employers.
