KWHY-TV Canal 22 MundoFOX Scores Significant "Year-to-Year" Growth in Primetime Ratings within Key Demos
LOS ANGELES, May 21, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- In the highly contested May 2015 Nielsen Sweeps, KWHY-TV Canal 22, the Los Angeles flagship station of the MundoFOX television network, now is the fastest growing Spanish station in LA, with the greatest average primetime ratings increases. Canal 22 MundoFOX LA's recent success is driven by the hit historical drama, Suleiman, which ranked third in one of the most competitive time slots.

- KWHY-TV Canal 22 MundoFOX LA posted significant growth in average primetime ratings, up 61% from May 2014 among Adults 18-49 and up 143% among Adults 25-54 -- more than KRCA/Estrella (+59%/+63%), KVEA/Telemundo (+54%/+39%), KAZA/Azteca America (+18%/+75%), KMEX/Univision (-7%/+3%), and KFTR/UniMas (-73%/-68%). (Based on Monday to Friday, 7-10P averages for KWHY and KRCA; and 7-11P averages for KMEX, KVEA, KFTR and KAZA.)
- Suleiman averaged solid 0.59 rating among Adults 18-49 and 0.88 rating among Adults 25-54, ranking third among regularly scheduled programs in the time period, beating Avenida Brasil on KVEA/Telemundo, Cineplex on KFTR/UniMas and Asi en el Barrio Como en el Cielo on KAZA/Azteca America.
