Cannabis Lifestyle Brand Old Pal Hires Two Industry Veterans To Ready For Multi-State Expansion

LOS ANGELES, March 5, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Cannabis lifestyle brand, Old Pal has hired two new industry veterans to ensure a growing list of new products meet consumer needs as the company expands into new states. Andrea Martin has been named Director of Product Management and Charlie Cangialosi joins as VP of Sales.

Andrea Martin's career started in financial services where she remained for 18 years before relocating to Los Angeles from the East Coast and transitioning into the food and beverage industry. She spent three years with Nestlé USA managing the timely and efficient execution of innovation and renovation projects within Nestlé's Beverage Division focused specifically on the core Coffee-Mate brand business.

Martin joins the Old Pal team most recently from MedMen where she was the lead project manager for their first launch of the [statemade] line of products in Nevada while gaining valuable experience in the cannabis space and navigating the complexities of getting products to retail shelves.

Charlie Cangialosi has been building successful cannabis industry sales organizations in California since 2015 where he reshaped the route to market strategies of Kiva Confections, Loudpack and Blue Distro. His past professional experience includes working for industry leaders like Anheuser-Busch InBev, MillerCoors and Ninkasi Brewing across multiple states. This multi-state experience is a critical asset to Old Pal's state and national expansion plans.

Additionally, Charlie has been an active legislative lobbying contributor during his time in the cannabis industry. Through his work with CCIA & CCMA, he was able to provide insight and strategies from his experience in the alcohol industry, which is subject to significant state and federal regulations. His ability to draw the parallels between these two adult-use product regulations makes him effective in conveying the need for practical and reasonable cannabis regulations.

Charlie is a graduate of California State University Long Beach and holds an MBA from Pepperdine University.
