Canoe And Vubiquity Announce Integration That Streamlines Video-On-Demand Ad Insertion

AdVU™ services proven to work with Canoe to ease Programmer's metadata workflow in support of VOD content monetization

LOS ANGELES, July 9, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Vubiquity, the largest global provider of multiplatform video services, and Canoe, a provider of advertising software and services to national television programming networks, today announced that Canoe has certified Vubiquity's AdVU™ service suite as integrated with the Canoe VOD DAI platform via Canoe's Integration Certification Program. Programmers can leverage the metadata asset management service to efficiently create, coordinate and manage submission of video assets for VOD DAI resulting in streamlined metadata authoring to both MVPDs and Canoe.

The Canoe Integration Certification Program supports the cable advertising ecosystem by identifying the industry solutions that have not only been integrated and tested to work with Canoe utilizing CableLabs® Metadata 1.1, 3.0, SCTE, and IAB VAST, but have also been deployed in one or more live production environments for an extended period of time.

Vubiquity's AdVU services include metadata solutions, as well as its ability to capture, edit, mark, stream condition, and distribute content and ads.
