Cantor sole-managed 31 ATM offerings totaling approximately $1.5 billion in notional value, and was a part of 40 at-the-market offerings with a value of approximately $3.5 billion in 2014. At-the-Market offerings (ATMs) allow public companies to issue primary shares from time-to-time into the market at the current market price. ATMs address many of the inefficiencies in the traditional issuance model, including negative price impact, discounted purchases, and large underwriting spreads.
