Canvas Announces Certification of Caliper Analytics 1.1 Standard
SALT LAKE CITY, Feb. 21, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Canvas by Instructure (NYSE:INST), a leading software-as-a-service (SaaS) technology company that makes software that makes people smarter, announced that it is now IMS Conformance Certified in the Caliper Analytics®1.1 standard. This certification is part of Canvas' commitment to comply with standards, as they enable technology solutions to collect and share data to fuel educational analytics in meaningful ways.
Because the Canvas team believes so strongly in the development and advancement of technology standards across the education industry, it was closely involved in the development of this standard with the IMS Global Learning Consortium. This deep collaboration between influential education institutions, educational technology providers, and other key players ensures the educational industry is advancing in powerful technology for analytics.

This ensures teachers have the information they need to determine whether their students are being successful or need further assistance.
