Capacity Sports Group Expands Its Multisport Operations at LakePoint Sports

Popular sports destination near Atlanta joins Capacity's growing portfolio, bringing nationally recognized events to 170,000-square-foot indoor venue

ATLANTA, Oct. 14, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Capacity Sports Group, a leading youth sports company that brings together proven operators, established event brands and sports destinations, today announced the expansion of its multisport operations at LakePoint Sports, adding the Champions Center Indoor Pavilion and Publix Fields to its growing portfolio. Located in Emerson, Ga., near Atlanta, LakePoint Sports is one of the nation's premier youth sports destinations, drawing athletes and families from across the globe.

Prep Baseball, part of Capacity Sports Group, has operated tournaments at LakePoint since 2019, including the National Program Invitational, National Championships and Future Games. Through this transaction, Capacity Sports Group now owns the 78-acre property comprising the Baseball Village and Publix Fields and holds a lease to operate the Champions Center. The expanded role builds on Capacity's established baseball presence and creates opportunities to grow programming across additional sports.

Welcoming millions of guests annually, LakePoint Sports is anchored by three signature venues. The Baseball Village features eight major league-sized synthetic turf fields, while the 170,000-square-foot Champions Center Indoor Pavilion accommodates 12 basketball courts or 24 volleyball courts. Publix Fields provides three multiuse turf fields for sports including soccer, lacrosse and football.
