CAPTRUST Expands Presence in New York with Addition of Compass Advisors and Long Island Wealth Management

RALEIGH, N.C., Sept. 23, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- CAPTRUST Financial Advisors (CAPTRUST) today announced that Compass Advisors and Long Island Wealth Management (LIWM) have joined the organization. Located in Melville, NY, the two long-time affiliated firms began collaborating in 2018 and are bringing seven professionals and a combined $1.2 billion in assets to CAPTRUST.

Compass Advisors was founded in 2013 by Partners Michael Cuneo and Lauren King serving the institutional and wealth management market.
