Car Hire Comparator Raises Funds to Pay for Cancer Charity Respite Days

Carrentals.co.uk generates funds through its 'Book and Donate' days to pay for 28 respite days for families affected by cancer

Car hire comparator Carrentals.co.uk has raised enough funds through its 'Book and Donate' days for the 4 Cancer Group to fund 28 respite days for families affected by cancer.

Carrentals.co.uk ran a string of 'Book & Donate' days throughout the second quarter of 2012 and donated £1 of every car hire booking on those days to the 4 Cancer Group and the total raised is the equivalent of 28 days of respite care.

Gareth Robinson, Managing Director of Carrentals.co.uk, says: "The 4 Cancer Group is dedicated to supporting British families affected by cancer and the 'Book & Donate' days mean the charity will receive enough funds to offer 28 days of respite care or a one week holiday for four people. The 4 Cancer Group incorporates a number of standalone sporting divisions including the skiing charity Ski 4 Cancer and sailing charity Sail 4 Cancer. Funding research into the positive effects that exercise can have on cancer prevention and recovery, the charity also provides respite breaks for British families affected by cancer and makes grants to UK based cancer care institutions.
