Car Show In Ogden To Benefit Cancer Foundation
OGDEN, Utah, Aug. 25, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- This Friday evening, prepare to be dazzled by all makes and models of classic and modern cars. Heiner's Insurance will be hosting their first annual car show in Ogden on Friday, August 26th at 5:30pm. All are invited to come spectate this parade of over 50 cars at Kirt's Drive-in, located at 1974 N 400 E in Ogden. The car show is part of the Chalk It Up North Festival, which brings together a gathering of talented chalk artists along with live music, local dining options, and family friendly entertainment. And that's just half the fun.
All proceeds garnered from the car show, as well as from the entire Chalk It Up North Festival, will go towards the JUST-a-BREAK Cancer Foundation. The foundation, founded out of Ogden and now serving most of the mountain west region, aims to give those fighting the battle with cancer a weekend off from the disease. JUST-a-BREAK funds weekend getaways and family outings to give families and loved ones a much needed break from cancer.

Event guests will have the opportunity to vote on their favorite cars and sit inside an original 1930s fire engine. After the car show on the 26th, visit the rest of the Chalk It Up North Festivities, including a 5k color run on the morning of the 27th, and a festival all day afterwards with local vendors, food, music, and of course, amazing chalk art. The festival begins with the annual car show this Friday the 26th from 5:30-8:30pm at Kirt's Drive-In of Ogden.
