Care Harbor To Distribute Wristbands For Upcoming Massive Free Clinic At The Los Angeles Sports Arena

WHO:               

Care Harbor, a Los Angeles-based nonprofit organization that helps medically underserved populations by organizing large-scale free urban health clinics, will host its annual Los Angeles clinic September 11- 14, 2014.  For the third year in a row, L.A. Care Health Plan is presenting sponsor of the event.

WHAT:

Care Harbor will distribute wristbands in advance of the clinic, on a first-come, first-served basis. Each person receives one wristband and each wristband grants admission to one person only. Wristbands are not removable without destroying them, so the person who receives it will be the one admitted to the clinic. Patients can choose the date they want to attend the clinic, and the selected date will be reflected in the wristband.

Wristbands for children or patients who can't go to the clinic on their own will be given to the parent or caregiver. This person must accompany the patient to the clinic and only the patient will receive services.
