Carepoint Health Opens Only Comprehensive Women's And Children's Centers In Hudson County
HUDSON COUNTY, N.J., May 7, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Today, CarePoint Health CEO Dennis Kelly and Hoboken Mayor Dawn Zimmer cut the ribbon to celebrate the grand opening of CarePoint Health Medical Group's new Comprehensive Women's and Children's Center at 5 Marine View Plaza in Hoboken. Following the ribbon cutting, CarePoint Health hosted an open house that included guided tours, face painting, mini massages, live music, raffles and giveaways. CarePoint Health is a fully integrated healthcare system that provides quality, patient-focused healthcare to residents of Hudson County. In addition to the Hoboken location, the Health System will also open two other CarePoint Women's and Children's Centers, in Edgewater and Newport, later this month.

The state of art the exam suites and diagnostic tools located at these three offices will allow women and children to receive seamless care from routine checkups to advanced screenings and procedures. By being able to visit pediatric primary care providers as well as pediatric subspecialists at the same time as comprehensive women's care, receiving care for the family has never been easier. These three locations were designed in order to facilitate exceptional care for the family with maximum convenience. Services offered include annual exams, antepartum care, breast health care, bone densitometry, screening mammography and gynecologic oncology. Children's services include, well visits and sports physicals, specialist referrals and nutrition counseling.
In addition to this new Hoboken location, CarePoint Health will open the Edgewater Harbour Office and Pampered Pregnancy Boutique at 4 Main Street in Edgewater on Wednesday, May 13. CarePoint Health's Pampered Pregnancy Program provides families with services and amenities designed to create a personal, family-centered birth experience that emphasizes mother and baby wellness, information for all family members and family autonomy. The site will also include a conference center for wellness education.
On May 20, CarePoint Health will open the Laguna Newport Office at 138 River Drive South in Jersey City. All of these new locations will feature state of the art equipment and the same high quality providers and staff that deliver services at CarePoint Health's three flagship facilities – Bayonne Medical Center, Christ Hospital and Hoboken University Medical Center.
