CareSpot Opens Fourth Urgent Care Center in Austin Area

AUSTIN, Texas, Sept. 9, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- CareSpot, the largest urgent care provider in Florida, is opening its fourth urgent care center in the Austin area on Monday, September 9^th, 2013 at 401 West Slaughter Lane, Suite 300, Austin, TX 78748.

"Adding another location in the Austin area, specifically in the Southpark Meadows area, fits our company strategy to provide as many locations possible convenient to where people live and work," said CareSpot CEO Michael D. Klein. "Convenience is important to our customers."

The 3,425 sq ft building provides a seamless experience to customers in the Austin area. Digital patient records allow each center to access the same medical record if a patient has visited another location in the area. Additionally, if a patient should need specialized or follow-up care, CareSpot staff will help arrange it as efficiently as possible. Also, at least five area pharmacies are conveniently located close to the Southpark Meadows location if patients need to fill a prescription following a visit. 

A grand opening celebration will take place Saturday, September 28^th, from 11am to 1pm. Refreshments and door prizes will be available. When touring the center, visitors will receive "care kits" worth over $200 in healthcare savings throughout the year.

Another CareSpot location is slated for the Austin area in early 2014. CareSpot centers offer care for flu, infections, migraines, sprains, cuts, bruises, burns and minor illnesses. They also offer IVs, X-rays, immunizations, physicals, health screenings and a wide range of occupational health services. All Austin-area CareSpot centers are open seven days a week from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
