Chicago Automobile Trade Association Finds Carfax Reports Provided by Dealers Generate Five Times More Sales Leads

NEW ORLEANS, Jan. 25, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Consumers shopping for used cars on DriveChicago.com are five times more likely to submit sales leads to dealers when a Carfax Report is provided, according to the Chicago Automobile Trade Association. The findings are the result of a three month trial offered by DriveChicago.com following a new partnership between CATA and Carfax.

DriveChicago.com automatically links Carfax Reports run by dealers to their inventory listed on the popular used car shopping site. With a single mouse click, potential buyers can view the full Carfax Report to help them buy with more confidence. As part of the partnership, Carfax and CATA are working together to help educate used car buyers and sellers on the importance of researching a vehicle's history and promote the availability of Carfax Reports on DriveChicago.com.
